The gear pumps are located on the back of the engine. The gear pumps are driven by the engine's flywheel.The gear pumps supply oil to the implement's main circuit, the travel circuit and the pilot circuit.The gear pump section (1) supplies oil to the left travel valve, the boom, and the bucket. The gear pump section (2) supplies oil to the right travel valve, the stick, and the power take-off. If the flow of the pump section (1) and pump section (2) are combined, oil is provided throughout the machine by the two pump sections. For additional information on combined flow, refer to Systems Operation, "Combined Function Hydraulic Operation".The gear pump section (3) supplies oil to the pilot system, swing, the blade and boom swing. In some instances, the flow from pump section (2) combines with the flow from pump section (3) and the combined oil is provided to the power take-off. For additional information on combined flow, refer to Systems Operation, "Combined Function Hydraulic Operation".Note: The power take-off may not be used in all machines.
