Slowly loosen the filler plug on the hydraulic tank in order to relieve the pressure.

Vacuum Cap
Draw a vacuum on the hydraulic system in order to minimize the loss of hydraulic fluid.
Remove the filler plug on the hydraulic tank.
Install the tool FT-2674 Vacuum Cap on the hydraulic tank.
Attach an air hose that will supply air at 345 kPa (50 psi) and .132 m3/min (4.65 CFM).

Open the access door for the air filter housing which is located on the right side of the machine.

The BIO filters are located below the air filter housing. (1) Water retention filter housing (2) Fine filter housing

(3) Bolt (4) Cover
Remove the four bolts (3) from the BIO filter assembly.
Remove the cover (4) from the BIO filter assembly.

(5) BIO filter element
Remove BIO filter element (5) from the filter assembly.
Install a new BIO filter element.
Replace the cover (4) and secure the cover with the four bolts (3) .
Remove the vacuum cap before you operate the machine.
Remove the air hose from the tool FT-2674 Vacuum Cap .
Remove the tool FT-2674 Vacuum Cap from the hydraulic tank.
Check the O-ring on the filler neck for damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring.
Install the filler plug and tighten the filler plug.
Start the engine.
Check the filter housing for leaks.
Turn off the engine.
Check the hydraulic fluid level.Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil" for information on Checking the Oil Level.
Close the access door.
