The Special Instruction, REHS5164-00 contains information for replacing the actuator for the water valve on certain Wheel Tractor-Scrapers. Replacing the actuator will increase the reliability of the HVAC system. The new 279-0850 Actuator replaces the existing actuator in the 241-5670 Water Valve As (HEATER). The 279-0850 Actuator will also replace the 245-1596 Actuator in the 275-6691 Water Valve Gp. The new actuator features Duetsch connectors with gold contacts. The actuator housing is designed for use in applications with high moisture. The actuator is designed to operate in both 12v and 24v systems.
