Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to muffler (1) . The weight of muffler (1) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

Disconnect hose (2) . Loosen clamp (3) and remove muffler (1) .Installation Procedure

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to muffler (1) and position muffler (1) at a distance of 5 mm (0.2 inch) above the flange on the turbocharger. The weight of muffler (1) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).
Tighten bolts (2) .
Tighten clamp (3) . Connect hose (4) .End By: Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
