Remove the turbochargers.
Remove the crankshaft rear seal and remove the wear sleeve.

Disconnect connector (1) .

Attach Tool (A) to stack (2). Fasten a hoist to stack (2) .
Remove four bolts (3) and stack (2). The weight of the stack and hardware is 45 kg (100 lb).

Remove hose clamp (6). Remove bolts (5) and support (4) .
Repeat step 3 and step 1 for the other side of the engine.

Remove bolts (7) that attach the oil pan (8) to the flywheel housing (9). Loosen the rest of the bolts that attach the oil pan to the engine.

Attach Tool (A) and attach a hoist to the flywheel housing.

Lift the flywheel end of the engine so that a 1/2 inch hard washer can be inserted between the oil pan and the cylinder block on both sides of the engine.
Install blocks under the oil pan in order to support the engine when the flywheel housing is removed. Lower the engine onto the blocks.

Remove the bolts (11) that attach the flywheel housing to the engine.
Remove the flywheel housing. The weight of the flywheel housing is 91 kg (200 lb).Installation Procedure

Install two 1/2 -13 UNC guide bolts in the cylinder block, as shown. Be sure that gasket (12) is in the proper position.Note: The cylinder block, both sides of gasket (12), and the surface of the flywheel housing that makes contact with the gasket must be free of oil, fuel, or water when the flywheel housing is installed.
Install Tool (A) on the flywheel housing. Install flywheel housing (9) on the engine. The weight of the flywheel housing is 91 kg (200 lb). Leave Tool (A) attached to the flywheel housing.

Note: Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on bolt (17) through bolt (20) before installation.
Install the bolts that fasten the flywheel housing to the cylinder block. Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts.
Tighten bolt (1) through bolt (8) in a numerical sequence to a torque of 136 14 N m (100 10 lb ft).
Tighten bolt (9) through bolt (20) in a numerical sequence to a torque of 55 7 N m (41 5 lb ft).
Tighten bolt
