1 2 7W-2297 Clamp As Use the following procedure to tighten the clamp:
1. Tighten the clamp to 14.0 1.5 N m (124.0 13.3 lb in).
2. Gently tap around the clamps with a soft faced hammer.
3. Again tighten the clamp to 14.0 1.5 N m (124.0 13.3 lb in).
2 2 123-6979 V-Band Clamp Use the following procedure to tighten the clamp:
1. Tighten the clamp to 9.5 1.0 N m (84.1 8.8 lb in).
2. Gently tap around the clamps with a soft faced hammer.
3. Again tighten the clamp to 9.5 1.0 N m (84.1 8.8 lb in).
3 8 2N-2765 High Temperature Bolt Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-seize to the threads and bearing surfaces.
4 8 2N-2766 Locknut Torque to 54 5 N m (40 4 lb ft).
5 16 6V-2751 High Temperature Bolt Tighten the bolt to 20.0 1.5 N m (177.0 13.3 lb in).
Close ends of lock plates one time only after final engine assembly replace opened lock plates.
