High-Pressure Cut-Off
1. Increase the pump rotation to 1000 rpm.2. Observe the charge pressure by installing a 0 to 3500 kPa (0 to 500 psi) gauge in the charge pressure port. The charge pressure should be 2470 170 kPa (360 25 psi).3. Slowly increase the signal pressure to the pump control port to 400 100 kPa (60 15 psi) and record pump output flow. The pump output should be 7.8 1.0 lpm (2.0 .25 gpm).4. Slowly increase pump load to 38980 1000 kPa (5660 300 psi). (If the charge pressure is lower than specified, the high-pressure cut-off will be lower by the same amount.)5. When the pump reaches 38980 1000 kPa (5660 300 psi), the output flow will decrease to 1.0 .3 lpm (.25 .10 gpm).6. If the pressure continues to increase above this point, stop the test and adjust the multi-function valve. Adjust the set screw in 1/12 turn increments and do not exceed 1/2 turn. The high-pressure relief section of this valve will relieve pressure at 3450 kPa (500 psi) above the high-pressure cut-off setting.7. Repeat the test for the opposite pump output.
