A     -     Loctite C5-A     -    Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Apply Tooling (A) to the splines at both ends of steering column (14). Connect steering column (14) to steering metering pump (5) .

Install four bolts (12), four spacers (10) (not shown), bracket (11), and steering metering pump (5) to mount (13) .
Install the O-ring seals to elbows (9). Install four elbows (9) .

Align the splines of steering metering pump (5) with the steering column universal joint. Install steering metering pump (5) .
Install bolt (8) and the nut. Tighten bolt (8) to a torque of 65 2 N m (48 2 lb ft).

Install two electrical connectors (7) to the clips.

Install four bolts and caps (6) .

Connect four hose assemblies (4) to steering metering pump (5) .

Position transformer (2) and install two screws (3) .

Install cover (1) .
Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
