Make sure the machine is on level ground. Stop the engine, and move the control lever to make sure the weight of the bulldozer blade is on the ground. Move the control lever backward and forward to release the pressure in the hydraulic system.
1. Attach a hoist and nylon strap to lift cylinder (1), and remove nut (3) the bolt and pin (2). Position wooden blocks under the lift cylinder, and remove the hoist and nylon strap.2. Repeat Step 1 for the lift cylinder on the opposite side of the bulldozer. Retract the lift cylinders. 3. Attach a hoist and tooling (A) to bulldozer (4) as shown. 4. Remove bolts (6) and cap (5) from both sides of bulldozer (4). Remove the bulldozer from the machine. The weight of the bulldozer is 336 Kg (739 lb.).5. If necessary, remove bearing (7) from both sides of the bulldozer. The following steps are for installation of the bulldozer.6. Install bearing (7) is both sides of bulldozer (4) if it was necessary to remove them.7. Use tooling (A) and a hoist to position bulldozer (4), and install cap (5) and bolts (6) on both sides of the bulldozer.8. Extend the lift cylinders, and install pin (2), the bolt and nut (3).
