Start By:a. remove fan and fan drive
Typical Example1. Remove O-ring seal (3) from the hub.2. Remove bolts (1) and washer (2).3. Remove hub (4), the bearings and spacer from the bracket.4. Remove the lip-type seal from hub (4). 5. Remove wear spacer (5) and pulley (6) from the bracket.6. Remove spacer (7) from pulley (6). The following steps are for the assembly of the fan drive.7. Install pulley (6) and spacer (7) on the bracket.8. Install wear spacer (5) on the bracket with the side that has the bevel toward the bearings.9. Install the lip-type seal in hub (4) with tooling (A). Install the seal with the lip away from the bearings. 10. Install bearing (8) and spacer (9) in the hub.11. Put multipurpose grease on the lip of the seal and fill the area between the bearings.12. Install hub (4) on the bracket.13. Install washer (2) with the flat side toward the bearings, and install bolts (1).14. Install O-ring seal (3) on hub (4).End By:a. install fan and fan drive
