Steering Console (10) Toggle switch (truck hitch)Move and hold toggle switch (10) upward in order to extend truck hitch hydraulic cylinder (7). This will open the truck hitch. Solenoid (8) is activated. As a result, valve envelope (11) is moved to the center position. In this position, the truck hitch control valve will direct system pressure to the head end of the hydraulic cylinder which will extend the hydraulic cylinder. Sump oil is being directed from the rod end of the hydraulic cylinder to return manifold (5) and to the hydraulic tank.Reference: Relief valve (3) limits the pressure of the oil in the truck hitch circuit.
