Attach an appropriate lifting device to axle shaft (8). Install axle shaft (8). Install Tool (B) in the end of axle shaft (8). Remove the lifting device. Use Tool (B) in order to move axle shaft (8) into the final drive. The weight of the axle shaft on the left side of the machine is 68 kg (150 lb).

Install plate (7) to the inside of cover (3). Install four self locking bolts (6) that secure plate (7) to the inside of cover (3). Install O-ring seal (5) on cover (3) .

Install Tool (A). Attach a suitable lifting device. Position cover (3). The weight of cover (3) is 34 kg (75 lb).
Align the marks on cover (3) and on wheel rim (1). Install six bolts (2) that secure cover (3) to wheel rim (1).
Refill the oil in the final drive. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" and refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for information regarding the correct viscosity and for information regarding the correct refill capacity. Replace drain plug (4) .
Repeat Step 1 through Step 5 in order to install the axle shaft on the right side of the machine. The weight of the axle shaft on the right side of the machine is 79 kg (175 lb).
