Information:
Electrical Disconnect Switch
Electrical Disconnect Switch - OFF - No power to most electrical circuits in the cab. The cab lights, panel lights, tail lights and the fuel gauge light are operational even with the switch in the OFF position. ON - Turn the switch clockwise and all circuits in the cab are operational.Start Switch
Start Knob - Push start knob and release after engine starts.Gauges
Engine Coolant Temperature (1) - Indicates the temperature of the engine coolant. GREEN RANGE is normal operating temperature. RED RANGE is excessive coolant temperature. WHITE RANGE is cold coolant temperature. Engine Oil Pressure (2) - Indicates the engine oil pressure. GREEN RANGE is normal when the engine is at FULL LOAD speed. WHITE RANGE is normal when the engine is at LOW IDLE. RED RANGE is excessive oil pressure, stop the engine and correct problem. Ammeter (3) - Indicates the charging condition of the charging circuit. In normal operation, with the engine running, the needle will read ZERO. Shift Speed and Tachometer (4) (If Equipped) - Indicates the engines rpms. GREEN RANGE in maximum rpm efficiency of the engine. YELLOW RANGE indicates when the engine should be downshifted or up shifted.Service Hour Meter
Service Hour Meter - Indicates the total operating hours of the engine. It should be used to determine service intervals.Air Filter Indicator
Engine Air Filter Indicator - Indicates the condition of the air filter element. If the red piston of the indicator is exposed, the air filter element needs serviced.Light Switch
Light Switch - Controls the lighting circuit. Pull the switch out to turn the lights ON. Push it in to turn the lights OFF.Back-up Alarm
Back-up Alarm - The alarm will sound when the transmission control lever is in the reverse position. It is used to alert people behind the machine that it is backing up. A three position switch at the rear of the back-up alarm regulates its volume. (1) is High, (2) is Low and (3) is Medium. The alarm is set at the highest sound level when shipped from the factory. The setting should remain on high, unless the job-site requires a lower level.Seat Adjustment
Adjust the seat at the beginning of each shift or when changing operators.Adjust the seat to allow full travel of brake pedal with the operator seated against the seat back. The seat must be adjusted with the operator seated.Static Seat
LATERAL: Move the lever sideways to slide the seat forward or backward. Release the lever. Move the seat slightly to lock it.Suspension Seat
1. Move the lever (1) sideways to slide the seat forward or backward.2. Move lever (2) to the right for a firmer ride. Move the lever to the left for a softer ride.3. Adjust backrest (3) by lifting up and aligning to the desired angle. Push down on the backrest and make sure the adjusting bracket is fully engaged.Adjustable Arm Rest (If Equipped)
The height of the arm rest can be adjusted as follows: 1. Remove two bolts (2).2. Move the arm rest (1)to the desired height.3. Install bolts
