Illustration 1 g03402222This machine utilizes four engine air cleaner assemblies. The engine air cleaner assemblies are located above the engine compartment.An engine air filter service indicator is located on the outlet of each of the engine air cleaner assemblies.To check the condition of each one of the four engine air filter service indicators, try resetting the service indicator. Less than three pushes of the reset button should be required to reset the service indicator.Next, check the movement of the yellow piston in the service indicator. Start the engine and accelerate the engine to high idle for a few seconds. After the throttle control pedal is released, the yellow piston should remain at the highest position that was achieved during acceleration.If either of these conditions are not met, replace the service indicator.
