Machine location of battery disconnect switch.
The battery disconnect switch is located in a compartment above the rear bumper on the left-hand side of the machine.The battery disconnect switch and the engine start switch perform different functions. The battery remains connected to the electrical system when you turn off the engine start switch. The entire electrical system is disabled when you turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.Switch Position OFF

(4) Wait to Disconnect lamp (if equipped) Wait to Disconnect Lamp (If Equipped) (4) - This lamp is illuminated anytime that the engine start switch is in the ON position. This lamp is also illuminated when the DEF pump is purging fluid from the system.

Battery Disconnect Delay film
The "Battery Disconnect Delay" film is located next to the Wait to Disconnect lamp (if equipped). This film instructs the operator to turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position when the Wait to Disconnect lamp is no longer illuminated.
Do not turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position until the Wait to Disconnect lamp is no longer illuminated. If the switch is turned to the OFF position when the lamp is illuminated, then the DEF system will not purge. DEF could freeze and cause damage to the pump and lines if not purged from the system.
Disconnect Switch OFF - Use the following procedure to deactivate the electrical system.
Open access door (3) to the compartment above the rear bumper on the left-hand side of the machine.
Observe condition of Wait to Disconnect lamp (4) (if equipped). Proceed to step 3 only after the Wait to Disconnect lamp has turned off.
Turn battery disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position by turning counter-clockwise after the Wait to Disconnect lamp is no longer illuminated.
Lock the switch in the OFF position by securing padlock (2) through the holes at the bottom of the switch. Turn the battery disconnect switch OFF and secure with a padlock when you exit the machine overnight or when you exit the machine for an extended period. Also, turn the battery disconnect switch OFF and secure with a padlock when you service the electrical system.
Never move the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is operating. Serious damage to the electrical system could result.

Disconnect Switch ON - Use the following procedure to activate the electrical system. The battery disconnect switch must be turned to the ON position before you start the engine.
Remove padlock (4) and turn battery disconnect switch (1) clockwise to the ON position in order to activate the electrical system.
