INSTALLATION: During installation of either the new bars, or the former bar and clamp after modification, make two checks as follows: 1. Make an inspection to be sure there are no sharp edges which can damage the hydraulic lines.2. Check the gap between the bars (or bar and clamp) before the bolts are tightened. A minimum gap of approximately 1.52 mm (.060") is necessary to be sure the tubes are held tightly when the bolts are tightened. If the gap measures less than this minimum dimension, machine one-half the difference from the face of each bar (or bar and clamp). After the machine work, check again to be sure there are no sharp edges in contact with the tubes.
