1. Fasten a strap and hoist to the ejector cylinder. Remove two bolts (2) and pin (1). Move the cylinder down and free of the ejector. 2. Fasten a hoist to the ejector. Move the ejector forward until the ejector rear guide rollers (3) are free of their guides (4) and the front of the ejector is free of its guide. 3. Remove the ejector (5). Weight is 1156 kg (2550 lb).Install Ejector
1. Put the ejector in the rear of the bowl with a hoist. Move the ejector to the rear until the ejector rear guide rollers (2) engage in their guides (1) and the front of the ejector engages in its guide. 2. Put the pin bore of the ejector cylinder in alignment with the pin bore on the ejector. Install the pin (3) in the bores and two bolts (4) in the pin. When one side is 19.1 mm (.75 in), the other side must not be more than 12.7 mm (.50 in). Check to make sure the clearance (6) between the ejector and floor is 0.8 to 6.1 mm (.03 to .24 in). Use shims 7J6871, 7J6873 as needed between each roller and the ejector frame to get correct clearance between each roller and the side of roller guide in scraper. To get clearance, measure the narrowest width between the roller guides in the scraper. The width between the outside of each roller must be 0.8 to 3.3 mm (.03 to .13 in) less than the measurement. Use the same thickness shims for each roller.
