3. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the rod end of the ejector cylinder. Remove two bolts (2), the washers, the bar and pin (1) from the rod end and the head end of the ejector cylinder. Lower the rod end of the ejector cylinder down to the bowl floor. 4. Fasten a hoist to the ejector as shown. Using the hoist, move the ejector forward until ejector rear guide rollers (3) are free of guides (4), and the front of the ejector is free of its guide. 5. Carefully remove ejector (5) from the machine. The weight of the ejector is 1157 kg (2250 lb).Install Ejector
1. Fasten a hoist to the ejector. Carefully install the ejector in the bowl. Using the hoist, move the ejector to the rear until ejector rear guide rollers (2) engage in their guides (1), and the front of the ejector engages in its guide. 2. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to the rod end of the ejector cylinder. Raise the ejector cylinder until the pin bore in the cylinder and the ejector are in alignment with each other. Install pin (3), the bar, two washers and two bolts (4).3. Install the ejector front guide rollers. See the topic "Remove and Install Ejector Guide Rollers (Front)" in this module. 4. Check clearance (5) between the ejector and the bowl sides. Check clearance (6) between the ejector and floor.
