2. Remove bolts (1) and disconnect elbows (2) from the radiator.3. Remove the bolts from the from the radiator shield assembly and removed the left half of fan guard (3). 4. Remove the bolts that hold right guard (4) to the radiator shield. The right guard must be turned 180 degreesto be removed. 5. Fasten nylon strap (5) and a hoist on fan (6) as shown. Remove the bolts and the nuts that hold the adapter and fan (6) to the fan drive. Carefully put the fan against the radiator. The weight to the fan and the adapter as a unit is 45 kg (100 lb). Before the fan can be removed from the machine, adapter (7) must first be removed.7. Remove the bolts and adapter (7) from the fan.Install Fan
1. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist on fan (1). Lower the fan in the machine.2. Install adapter (2) on the fan with the bolts that hold it.3. Use the nylon strap and a hoist to put fan (1) and the adapter as a unit in position on the fan drive. Install the bolts and the nuts that hold the unit in position. 4. Install right guard assembly (3) and left guard assembly (4) on the shield assembly.5. Install the gasket and connect elbows (5) to the radiator with the bolts that hold it.6. Fill the radiator with coolant to the correct level. See the Operation And Maintenance Manual.
