Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install strainer (29) and retaining ring (27) in the hydraulic tank.
Install ball (31), plate (32), and gasket (33) in cap (30) .
Install cap (30), washer (34), and retaining ring (35) in cover (28) .
Install lever (26) and pin (25) in cover (28) .
Install cap assembly (23) and valve (24) .

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install valve (21), spring (20), screen (19), flange (18), bolts (17), and O-ring seals (22) to filter base (15). Repeat this Step for the other filter base.

Position filter base (15) in the hydraulic tank and install bolts (16). Repeat this Step for the other filter base.
Install O-ring seal (13), tube assembly (14), and bolts (12). Repeat this Step for the other tube assembly.

Position tube assembly (10) and the O-ring seals in the hydraulic tank.
Install bolts (8) (not shown) and connect clamp (9) .
Install gasket (11) .

Position tube assembly (6) and the O-ring seals in the hydraulic tank.
Install bolts (4) .
Install gasket (5) .

Install cover (1), sight glass (3), and bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 10 1.0 N m (89 9.0 lb in).End By:
Install the oil filter assemblies. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oil Filter (Hydraulic Tank) - Install".
Install the hydraulic tank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank - Install".
