The windshield wiper function may stop on certain Excavators. The failure is caused by an open electrical circuit inside the wiper motor due to a faulty thermal switch.Solution
If the function of the 251-3482 Window Wiper Motor Gp or the 234-0728 Window Wiper Motor Gp fails, install a new 251-3482 Window Wiper Motor Gp or 234-0728 Window Wiper Motor Gp . The new wiper motor has a new thermal switch. The new wiper motor will deliver acceptable performance until a permanent solution is identified.
