Creeper Speed Switch (3) - Push down on the switch in order to activate the creeper speed. Use the creeper speed when a very low travel speed is desired. When the creeper speed is activated, the indicator light will turn on. Push down on the button in order to deactivate the creeper speed. Brake Characteristics (4) - Push down on the switch in order to select the desired brake characteristic. One of the three indicator lights will turn on, indicating a brake characteristic of either LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH. Each button press will cause the braking characteristic to change from the current mode to the next mode. Automatic Engine Speed Control Switch (AESC)
Automatic Engine Speed Control switch (AESC) (5) - Push down on the switch in order to select the desired mode. AESC Mode 1 - Lowers the speed of the setting of the engine speed dial by approximately 100 rpm in the "no load" or the "light load" condition. AESC Mode 2 - Reduces the engine speed to approximately 1300 rpm in the "no load" condition. The AEC will lower the engine speed if no load on the machine continues for approximately three seconds or a light load on the machine continues for ten seconds. This process is designed to reduce the noise and fuel consumption.Parking Brake Control Switch
Personal injury could result from the sudden stop of the machine.Be prepared for a sudden stop whenever the parking brake indicator comes on and the warning horn sounds. Correct the reason for the loss of oil pressure or any other cause of the automatic application of the parking brake. Machine movement without repair could result in personal injury or death.
If the brake system oil pressure drops below normal operating pressure, a warning horn will sound, the brake accumulator error indicator will come on, and the action light will come on.The parking brake will engage automatically.
Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless the wheel brakes fail. The use of the parking brake as a wheel brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the parking brake system.
Switch (Parking Brake Control) (6) - To engage the parking brake, press the parking brake switch. When the parking brake is in the engaged position, the light that is located on the soft switch panel and the parking brake indicator that is on the monitor will come on. Note: When the left console is in the raised position, the parking brake will engage.Note: The parking brake will not engage when low transmission clutch pressure is detected.
