1. Take a small screwdriver and pry nose piece (1) out until it no longer moves (approximately 6.5 mm (.25 in). Use the slots provided in the sides of the nose piece.2. Screw the control group into the bore on the transmission speed sensor housing. Torque to 23 4 N m (16.9 2.9 lb ft).3. When the control group is tightened, the nose piece contacts the gear face and slides back into the control group body. After the control group is fully tightened, the nose piece is at the correct air gap and no other adjustments are required.
