1. Loosen three bolts (1). 2. Loosen nut (2) and support chain (3).3. Remove three bolts (1) and remove feeder drag conveyor planetary. The following steps are for the removal of the chain. 4. Remove two cotter pins (4), side plate (5) and master link (6). 5. Remove nine bolts (7) and remove adjustment plate (8). 6. Remove retaining ring (9), collar (10) and loosen two set screws (11). Remove sprocket (12). 7. Remove key (13) and spacer (14). For installation, reverse removal steps.End By:Install feeder drag conveyor motor.Disassemble & Assemble Feeder Drag Conveyor Planetary
1. Remove twelve bolts (1) and remove cover (2). 2. Remove O-ring (3) and shim (4). 3. Remove ring gear (5), washer (6), carrier (7) and input gear (8). 4. Remove O-ring (9) and washer (10). 5. Bend tab on lockwasher (11), remove locknut (12), lockwasher (11), washer (13) and ring gear (14). 6. Remove retaining ring (15), hub (16) and bearing (17). Bearing (17) is press fit onto hub (16). 7. Remove bearing cup (18). 8. Remove seal (19), shaft (20), bearing (21) and bearing cup (22). Bearing (21) is press fit onto shaft (20). 9. Remove pin (23), shaft (24), throat washers (25), gear (26), needle bearings (27) and spacer (28).10. Repeat step 9 to remove remaining two assemblies. The following steps are for the assembly of the feeder drag conveyor planetary. All planetary components must be cleaned and inspected before assembly. If any components are worn beyond recommended limits they must be replaced. Lubricate all moving components during assembly. Assemble planetary with all new seals. 11. Install spacer (28), needle bearings (27), gear (26), thrust washers (25), shaft (24) and pin (23).12. Repeat step 11 to install remaining two assemblies. 13. Install bearing cup (22), bearing (21), shaft (20) and seal (19) with the lip facing inward. 14. Install bearing cup (18). 15. Install bearing (17), hub (16) and retaining ring (15). 16. Install ring gear (14), washer (13), lockwasher (11), locknut (12) and bend tab on lockwasher (11). Tighten locknut (12) to a torque of 88 N m (65 lb ft). Complete the assembly by reversing the disassembly steps 1 thru 4.
