Illustration 1. 9T0095 Head.If the earlier 9T0095 Heads are experiencing timing problems, they should be replaced with the new 6E5527 Head and seals. If the cylinder is leaking only, the 9T0095 Head can be machined to accept the larger seals if the seal area of the flange is 25.0 mm (.98 in) long. The 9T0095 Head can be machined to the dimensions in Chart B (as shown in Illustration 1). If the seal area of the flange is less than 25.0 mm (.98 in), the 9T0095 Head must be replaced to correct the problem.
