Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove 9EP7611 Plate - Guard (4). Discard 9EP7611 Plate - Guard (4). Retain 8T-2502 Bolts (2) and 8T-4896 Hard Washer (3) for assembly.

Drill and tap four holes in the rear frame. Refer to Illustration 2.
Install 9EQ4162 Plate - Guard (6) to the frame with four 5P-2566 Bolts and four 8T-4223 Hard Washers. Fasten 9EQ4162 Plate - Guard (6) to 9EP7610 Plate - Guard (1) with 8T-2502 Bolts (2) and 8T-4896 Hard Washer (3), removed at Step 2.
