CUSTOM TRACK SERVICE HANDBOOK - 15th EDITION
The 15th edition of the Custom Track Service Handbook (PEKP9400-03) is now available in English in the literature distribution system.
This edition is a comprehensive update to the Handbook. Nearly every wear chart in the book was updated. The General Information section, the Management & Merchandising section and the Management section of the four product types were also updated. In this version:

Nearly all wear charts were updated to some extent.
?
Many component design changes since the last publication are reflected in updated wear charts.
?
The carrier roller wear limits were increased for use with Heavy Duty, Rotating Bushing and Extended Wear Life Track.

Track roller wear charts for elevated sprocket machines now extend to the point at which the wear surface meets the retainer bolt holes. Reference Wear Chart Design found under Elevated Sprocket Machines/Components/Track Rollers of the handbook to learn how to apply these changes.

Greater and Lesser Allowable wear columns were combined into one for large excavators.
?
The rounding was removed from all measurements for the Ultrasonic Wear Indicator.

Undercarriage Codes for use with the CTS computer program were updated and included in the front of each section and below each wear chart.

All machine models are up-to-date.

The three excavator sections, the 300/5000 - Family, 200 - Family and E - Family, can be more easily located with the new, individual tabs.

Classic was added as a new section following Low Sprocket Machines.

All machines are arranged from smallest to largest to match the structure of the Parts Sales Kit.

Pipelayer model numbers were added to the applicable section headers.

The track seal replacement guidelines were updated.

Translation of the 15th edition in French, Portuguese and Spanish is in process.
