Do not disconnect lines or remove plugs in cushion hitch circuit until engine has been shut off for a minimum of five minutes, to let oil pressure in accumulator go down to zero PSI.
1. Disconnect lines (2) from leveling valve.2. Remove six bolts (1) and valve from centering valve.Install Cushion Hitch Leveling Valve
1. Put leveling valve (2) in position on the centering valve (1) and install the six bolts that hold it.2. Connect two hydraulic lines to the leveling valve.Disassemble Cushion Hitch Leveling Valve
start by: a) remove cushion hitch leveling valve 1. Remove plug (11), spring (12), and check valve (13) for the load cylinder.2. Remove plug (1), spring (10), and valve (14) for pilot spool.3. Remove plug (2), spring (3) and restrictor check valve (4).4. Remove plug (18), spring (17) and safety relief valve (16).5. Remove adapter (9), fitting (8), spring (15) and bleed-down spool (19).6. Remove plug (7), spring (6), relief valve (5) for main system pressure.Assemble Cushion Hitch Leveling Valve
1. Check all O-rings for damage and replace if needed. 2. Install relief valve (2), spring and plug for main system pressure.3. Install spring, valve and fitting for bleed-down spool (3).4. Install valve (5), spring and plug for safety relief.5. Install restrictor check valve (1), spring and plug.6. Install valve, spring and plug for pilot spool (4).7.
