Installation Procedure

Install a new gasket to gear pump (3) .Note: Do not apply additional sealant to the gasket as this can lead to misalignment during installation.
Install gear pump (3) and bolts (1) to the engine. Install bolts (1) finger tight in order to take out initial clearance between gear pump (3) and the adapter. Use the following steps to properly tighten bolts (1) .
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 27.5 5 N m (20 4 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Install hose assembly (4) , clamps, and the bolts to gear pump (3) .
Connect hose assemblies (2) to gear pump (3) .
