Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the piston pump (propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Propel) - Remove and Install".

Loosen bolt (1) and remove coupling hub (2).

Remove eight bolts (4) and pump drive (3). Installation Procedure

Install pump drive (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Illustration 3 g03871861Note: The pump shaft and the inside diameter of the hub must be clean and free of oil.
Install coupling hub (2) and bolt (1). Dimension (X) is the gap between coupling hub (2) and the plate. Ensure Dimension (X) is 21.8 0.8 mm (0.9 0.1 inch). Tighten bolt (1) to a torque of 86 10 N m (63 7 lb ft).
Install pump drive (3) to the flywheel with the center protruding section away from the flywheel.
Apply Tooling (A) to eight bolts (4). Install eight bolts (4). End By:
Install the piston pump (propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Propel) - Remove and Install".
