CYLINDER GP-BRAKE 1368537 - Caterpillar

Illustration 1 shows the location of the two 5G3637 Housing Assemblies in the steering brake group. Use 3S6252 Adhesive between the housing assemblies and the steering clutch case assembly, and use 5P3413 Compound or No. 2 Permatex on the bolt threads.
Illustration 1.Illustration 2 shows the locations of the 6S8224 and 3Y8439 Plugs. Use 5P3413 Compound or No. 2 Permatex on the Plugs and all the bolts. Use 3S6252 Adhesive and 7M7260 Liquid Gasket where shown.
Illustration 2.Illustration 3 shows the location of the extra internal (inside) welds and sealant. For machines in the field, do not weld at the locations shown, but use 3S6252 Adhesive at all the joints (junctions).
