Connect one Tool (C) to reverse pressure tap (10) in port "DR" of the test block. Connect second Tool (C) to forward pressure tap (9) in port "DF" of the test block.

Unhook latch (11) and open the engine compartment.

Remove locking pin (13). Raise support bar (12). Lock the support bar in position with the locking pin.

Remove bolts (15) with washers, and remove right side panel (14) .

Remove nut and washer from under direction control lever (16). Disconnect servo link (17) from lever.

Remove cotter pin and pin (20) from direction control lever (19). Disconnect cable (18) from the direction control lever.

Remove the plug from port "X1" (21) of the drum pump. Install Tool (E) in port "X1".
Remove the plug from port "X2" (22) of the drum pump. Install second Tool (E) in port "X2".
Connect one end of Tool (D) to the tap in port "X1" (21). Connect other end of Tool (D) to the tap in port "X2" (22).
Move engine start switch (5) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Move throttle control switch (3) to the HIGH IDLE position.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (H). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 49 6 °C (120 10 °F).
Move throttle control switch (3) to the LOW IDLE position.
Read the pressure on the gauges. The pressure on both gauges should be equal. If the pressure is equal, go to Step 28. If the pressure is not equal, go to Step 26.

Loosen locknut (23). Watch the pressure on the gauges. If necessary, rotate adjustment screw (24) until the pressure is equal on both gauges.
Hold adjustment screw (24), and tighten locknut (23) .
Move engine start switch (5) to the OFF position.
Remove Tool (B) from Tool (C). Install Tool (A) on Tool (C). Make two sets of tools.
Move engine start switch (5) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Move throttle control switch (3) to the HIGH IDLE position.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (H). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 49 6 °C (120 10 °F).
Move throttle control switch (3) to the LOW IDLE position.
Loosen locknut (23). Watch the pressure on the gauges. If necessary, rotate adjustment screw (24) until the pressure is equal on both gauges.
Rotate adjustment screw (24) until the pressure at forward pressure tap "DF" (9) just begins to increase. Note the angular position of the wrench.
Rotate adjustment screw (24) until the pressure at reverse pressure tap "DR" (10) just begins to increase. Note the angular position of the wrench.
Rotate adjustment screw (24) to the center of the two positions noted above. Hold the adjustment screw in place and tighten locknut (23) .Note: Make sure that the pressure does not change when locknut (23) is tightened.
Move engine start switch (5) to the OFF position.
