Remove cap (6). Loosen locknut (4) .
Turn adjustment screw (5) clockwise by seven revolutions.Note: Step 2 will reduce the oil flow. This ensures that the attachment motor will not start at a speed that is too high.
Start the engine.
Lower the left console.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 55° 5°C (131° 9°F).
Move the flow priority switch to the ON position.
Move the flow priority switch to the OFF position. Check if the pilot pressure is available at hose (3) .Note: The pressure at hose (6) should be equal to the pilot pressure setting.
Move the flow priority switch to the ON position.
Check if pilot pressure at hose (3) drops below 35 kPa (5 psi).Note: If the pilot pressure is too high, check for proper connections.
Stop the engine.Adjust
Line Relief Valve at Main Control Valve
Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Line) - Test and Adjust (Implement)".
Disconnect the high pressure hoses from the priority attachment at the main control valve. The high pressure hoses lead to either the hydraulic motor or the cylinders of the attachment.
Block the main control valve port with a 6V-9832 Cap .
Block the hose with a 6V-9511 Face Seal Plug .
Start the engine.
Lower the left console.

The pressure tap is located in the battery compartment. (7) Load sensing signal pressure
Move the flow priority switch to the ON position. Check the line relief valve pressure at pressure tap (7) .Note: The line relief valve must be set at the value that is specified by the supplier of the hydraulic motor or the cylinders of the attachment. The normal pressure setting is 2000 to 3000 kPa (290 to 435 psi) higher than the working pressure of the attachment. If the line relief valve is not set to the proper specification, adjust the line relief valve.

(8) Adjustment screw (9) Locknut
Loosen locknut (9) .
In order to increase the setting of the line relief valve, turn adjustment screw (8) clockwise. In order to decrease the setting of the line relief valve, turn the adjustment screw (8) counterclockwise.
Tighten locknut (9) .
Stop the engine.
Remove the plug from the main control valve. Remove the cap from the high pressure hose.
Connect the high pressure hose to the main control valve.Flow Adjustment for Priority Attachment

Turn the flow priority function to the OFF position.
Start the engine.
Lower the left console.
Adjust the engine speed to a medium idle.
Turn adjustment screw (5) in order to adjust the flow to the priority attachment.
Check the speed of the motor or check the flow to the cylinders of the priority attachment.Note: The speed and the flow should be set to the specifications of the supplier of the attachment.
Tighten locknut (4) in order to secure screw (5) .
Replace cap (6) .Priority Flow Control
Decrease the pressure at the main relief valve to approximately 28000 kPa (4061 psi) in order to simulate a high flow and high pressure implement operation. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Main) - Test and Adjust".
