Rear Sliding Window (If Equipped)
Lift the latch to slide the windows. The window can also be used for a secondary exit if the doors are blocked.Horn and Mirror
Horn - Push the knob down to sound the horn. Use the horn to alert or to signal personnel. Adjust the mirror to allow proper viewing from the seat to see close behind the machine.Back-up Alarm
Back-up Alarm - The alarm sounds when the transmission control lever is in the REVERSE position. It is used to alert people behind the machine that it is backing up. A three position switch (high, low and medium) at the rear of the back-up alarm regulates its volume. The alarm is set at the highest sound level when shipped from the factory. The setting should remain on high, unless the job-site requires a lower level.Heating and Air Conditioning Controls
Fan Speed Switch - This switch controls the blower fan motor for heating and air conditioning. First Speed (I) (1) - Move the switch to this symbol for lowest fan speed. Second Speed (II) (2) - Move the switch to this symbol for a medium fan speed. Third Speed (III) (3) - Move the switch to this symbol for highest fan speed. This switch activates the heat or air conditioning. Off (1) - Move the switch to this symbol to turn off all controls. Heating (2) - Move the switch to this symbol to activate. Air Conditioning (3) - Move the switch to this symbol to activate. Heating Variable (4) - Turn the knob anywhere between MINIMUM (left) and MAXIMUM heat (right.) This switch controls the heat desired. Air Conditioning Variable (5) - Turn the knob anywhere between MINIMUM (left) and MAXIMUM cool (right). This switch controls air conditioning. The Heating and Air Conditioning system can perform four functions: Heating - Turn the heating control on. Turn the blower fan switch to FIRST, SECOND or THIRD speed. Adjust the heating control for the desired temperature. Cooling - Turn the air conditioning control on. Turn the blower fan switch to FIRST, SECOND or THIRD speed. Adjust the cooling control for the desired temperature. Pressurizing - Pressure inside of the cab helps keep dust out, when heating or cooling is not desired.Turn heating variable knob (4) and air conditioning variable knob (5) controls to OFF. Turn blower fan to either FIRST, SECOND or THIRD speed, depending on the volume of air needed to keep out dust. Defogging - It is possible to use the heating system, with the air conditioning system, to remove moisture from the air in the cab. This prevents moisture from forming on the windshield and windows.Turn on the blower fan and the air conditioning switch. Adjust both the heating and cooling knob controls (4) and (5) to obtain the correct temperature for proper defogging.Seat Adjustment
Adjust the seat at the beginning of each shift or when changing operators.
