2. Disconnect lubrication line (3).3. Disconnect small water line (4).4. Remove four bolts (1) to water bypass elbow (5).5. Remove two bolts mounting water pump outlet elbow (2).6. Remove water pump-to-engine retaining bolts and remove water pump-weight 75 lbs. (34 kg).Install Water Pump
1. Position the water pump to engine and install retaining bolts.2. Install water pump outlet elbow.3. Connect lubrication line.4. Connect small water line.5. Install bolts on water bypass elbow.6. Fill cooling system to specified level.concluding step: a) install alternatorDisassemble Water Pump

TYPICAL EXAMPLE1. Remove the pulley retaining nut and lock. Install puller assembly (A) and remove the pulley. Remove the key.2. Remove the retainer and seal. Remove seal from retainer.
TYPICAL EXAMPLE3. Remove the cover retaining bolts and nuts. Remove the cover from the water pump housing.4. Remove the impeller retaining nut. Remove the impeller by holding the shaft and rotating the impeller clockwise.5. Remove the shaft assembly from the housing. Remove the bearing assemblies and spacer from the shaft.6. Remove the carbon seal assembly and lip-type seal from the housing.Assemble Water Pump
TYPICAL EXAMPLE1. Using seal installer (A), install the carbon seal assembly into water pump housing. Install the lip-type seal in housing with lip of seal toward bearing assemblies. Lubricate the lip of seal with lubricant being sealed.2. Install the bearing assemblies and spacer on the shaft. Install the shaft assembly in housing.
TYPICAL EXAMPLE3. Install the seal in the cage with lip of seal toward bearing assemblies. Lubricate the lip of seal. Install the cage on housing.4. Install the pulley, lock and retaining nut. Tighten nut (2) to 50-55 lb. ft. (6,9-7,6 mkg) and bend the lock.5. Install the impeller on shaft. Adjust impeller clearance (3) to .010 .005 in. (0,25 0,13 mm). Install the impeller retaining nut (1) and tighten to 50-55 lb. ft. (6,9-7,6 mkg). After tightening nut, strike the pulley end of shaft and check impeller clearance while rotating impeller.6. Install the water pump cover, retaining bolts and nuts.concluding step: a) install water pump
