CYLINDER GP-ARTICULATION 1735981 - Caterpillar

1 Remove valve (1), hose (2) and gauge (3) from 9S8140 Pump Group (4). Remove handle (5) from the pump; put a 1P3075 Slide Hammer on the rod and again install handle (5). Use the slide hammer to remove the bushing from end (A). Put the pump body in FT1797 Holder (6); use a hammer and a long punch to remove the valve assembly from end (B). Put 9S3263 Thread Lock on the outside diameter of new valve assembly (7). Put the holes in valve (7) in alignment with the holes in end (B) in pump body (4). Use a press to install the valve in the body. Install valve (1), hose (2) and gauge (3). Install the rod and piston in the body. Install the new bushing (8) in end (A) and install the handle on the rod.
