Remove bolts (32) and lower plate (33) from lower pivot pin (34).

Using Tooling (F), measure the distance from the bottom face of lower pivot pin (34) to the machined face on underside of the front frame. Use the following calculation to determine the required shim thickness. Measured thickness - 0.25mm = Required shim thickness or Measured thickness - 0.01inch = Required shim thickness.

Install the correct amount of shims calculated in Step 21 between lower pivot pin (34) and lower plate (33). Apply Tooling (G) to the threads of bolts (32) and install lower plate (33) and bolts (32). Tighten bolts (32) to a torque of 65 5 N m (48 4 lb ft).

Position bracket (27) onto rear frame (29). Install bolts (28).

Connect hose assembly (30).

Position harness assemblies (24). Connect hose assemblies (25) and (26).

Position parking brake cable (9). Connect hose assemblies (18), (19), (20), (21), (22), and (23).

Position strap (16). Install bolt (17).

Connect harness assemblies (13), (14), and (15).

Install clip (12) on parking brake cable (9). Position clip (12) and install nut (11).

Install parking brake cable (9) on brake caliper (10).

Install pin (7) in the bore of steering cylinder (8) and bore of rear frame. Position the retainer, and install the bolts (5) and the washers. Install retaining ring (6). Position tube assembly (4). Install clamp assembly (3). Install hose assemblies (1) and (2). Note: Lower the temperature of steering cylinder pin (7) to allow easier installation.
Lubricate upper pivot pin (42), pin (50), and lower pivot pin (34) prior to the operation of the machine. Do not attempt to operate the machine until pivot points are lubricated.

Remove Tooling (A) from the rear of the machine. End By:
Install the drive shaft.
Install the cab.
