Apply NLG1#0 GREASE onto the bearing bores. Use a suitable lifting device to install pin (19) . The weight of pin (19) is approximately 52 kg (115 lb).
Repeat Step 2.b for the opposite end of the upper suspension link.

Install Tooling (E) . Tighten the bolt until pin (19) is fully engaged with Tooling (E) .

Install new collet (18) .Note: Do not apply Anti-Seize Compound to collet (18) .
Apply Tooling (F) onto bolt (17) . Install bolt (17) .
Use Tooling (G) to tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).
Strike the collets with a hammer to cause the torque to drop to less than 950 N m (700 lb ft).
Use Tooling (G) to tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).
Strike the collet with a hammer to cause the torque to drop to less than 1600 N m (1180 lb ft).
Use Tooling (G) to tighten the bolt to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1330 150 lb ft).
Install plugs (16) .
Remove Tooling (E) .
Repeat Step 2.e through Step 2.l for the opposite side of the upper suspension link.
Repeat Step 2.d through Step 2.n for the opposite end of the upper suspension link.
Repeat Step 2.a through Step 2.o for the remaining upper suspension link.

Install manifold (14) .

Position slack adjuster (9) and install bolts (8) .

Fill the joints for the suspension links with 80W - 90 Gear Oil by removing the plugs from the links. Add gear oil through the grease fitting until oil comes out of the first vent hole. Plug the first vent hole and continue adding oil until oil comes out of the second vent hole. Remove the plug from the first vent hole in order to burp the joint. Do not overfill as excess oil may force the seals out of position resulting in failure.Note: Under arctic conditions fill suspension link joints with EMGARD EP75W-90 Oil.

Remove Tooling (A) from frame assembly (1) .
After 50 hours of operation, refill the suspension link with 80W - 90 Gear Oil and tighten the collet bolts to a torque of 1800 200 N m (1328 148 lb ft). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Link and Rear Cylinder (Suspension) - Check".End By:
Install the rear axle lubrication gear motor.
Install the rear tires onto the side of the machine that is being serviced.
