Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto cooling package (10). The weight of cooling package (10) is approximately 544 kg (1200 lb).

Install cooling package (10). Install bolts (11). Repeat for the opposite side.

Connect hose assembly (9) onto fuel cooler (7).

Connect hose assembly (8) onto fuel cooler (7).

Connect bottom aftercooler tube (6). Connect bottom radiator hose (5).

Connect top aftercooler tube (4).

Install clamp (1). Repeat for the opposite side.
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change". End By:
Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".
