the lead from the soldered tube joints. This could cause brittle joints. Cores for 826C Compactors and 651E, 657E, 834B Tractors are bolted to U-shaped brackets. When the core cools and contracts, the top header plate is forced down against the inner edges of the brackets. See Illustration 2. This puts added stress on the tube-to-header joints. Interference with the edge of the brackets has been reduced by adding a chamfer to the brackets. New upper radiator mounts on D8L and D9L Tractors permit easier assembly and provide a tighter mount to reduce core vibrations. (right arrow)
