If bearing (13) was removed from the front track roller frame, heat the new bearing to a maximum temperature of 175 deg C (347 deg F) and install the bearing on the front roller frame. Install the bearing with the taper on the outside diameter toward the rear of the front roller frame.

Install bearing (9) and spiral ring (10) in the rear track roller frame.
The seal bore in the track roller frame must be clean and free of dirt, oil, and old adhesive.
Put Tooling (B) on the outside diameter of seal (11) .
Install seal (11) and spiral ring (12) in the rear track roller frame, as shown.

Fasten a suitable lifting device and strap (8) to the front track roller frame (7) , as shown. Put the front track roller frame in position in the rear track roller frame. If necessary, use a lift truck to push the front track roller frame in the rear track roller frame.

Install two 1/2 inch - 13 NC forged eyebolts (14) in guides (5) . Use the suitable lifting device to align the key slots in the front roller frame with guides (5) and install the guides in the rear track roller frame.

Use the 50 ton screw jack (6) to lower the machine on the track and remove Tooling (A) .

The O-ring seals must be in covers (4) . Install the covers on each side of the roller frame.
Install plug (3) .
Install the O-ring seal and cover (2) on the roller frame.

Install handle (1) on the radiator guard.
After the track has been adjusted fill the recoil spring compartment with oil to the proper level. Note: Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for all fluid capacities and the proper filling procedures.End By: Connect the track.
