Note: If the machine is equipped with an ARO stick, an additional 3.0 hours labor and $75 U.S. Dollars for material will be allowed in order to modify the new stick.
Note: Attach pictures of the cut stick to SIMSi when submitting the warranty claim. Refer to the Parts Disposition.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Cut through the pivot casting on each side of the stick so that the stick is rendered useless. Take pictures of the cut stick and a readable stick serial number tag. Attach the pictures of the cut stick and the stick serial number tag to SIMSi when submitting the warranty claim. Then handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
This Rework Procedure is for modifying the standard 3.9m stick for accugrade attachments. This procedure only needs to be completed if you need an ARO stick.
1. Fabricate the studs, plates, and bar according to the images below. The listed dimensions are in Metric (mm).

2. Weld the fabricated studs, plates, and bar to the stick assembly according to the images below.
