2. Disconnect wires (1) from the solenoid.3. Disconnect wires (2) from the starter motor.4. Remove bolts (4), starter motor (3) and the gasket from the flywheel housing. Use two persons to remove the starter motor. The weight of the electric starting motor is 23 kg (50 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the electric starting motor.5. Install the gasket and starter motor (3) in position on the flywheel housing and install bolts (4).6. Connect wires to the starter motor and tighten to a torque of 27 to 33 N m (20 to 25 lb ft).7.
