A 199-5815 Forcing Bolt 3 Start By:
Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release". Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, thoroughly clean the exterior of the component. Thoroughly cleaning the exterior of the component will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses, and all tubes in order to prevent fluid loss and contaminants from entering the system.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Disconnect hose assembly (1) from both sides of the lift arm assembly.

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt link (2). The weight of tilt link (2) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb).
Remove bolt (3), the washer, and the nut.

Remove three plugs (4).

Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (5).
Repeat Step 4 and Step 5 for the collet on the other side.

Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (6).
Remove pin (6) and the shims.
Tie tilt link (2) to the tilt lever.

Attach a suitable lifting device to ejector bucket (7). The weight of the bucket is 4530 kg (9987 lb).

Remove bolt (8), washers, and nut from each lower bucket pin assembly.
Remove three plugs (9).

Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (10).
Repeat Step 12 and Step 13 for the collet on the other side.

Remove pin (12) and shims (11).
Remove shims (12).
Repeat Step 11 through Step 16 for the bucket pin assembly on the other side.
Remove the ejector bucket.
