Drift of Bowl Cylinders
Note: Run the engine at low idle in order to check the drift of the bowl cylinders.With the engine at low idle, raise the cutting edge of the bowl 150 to 250 mm (5.9 to 9.8 inch) above the ground. Then move the control lever to the HOLD position and check the drift of the bowl cylinders. After three minutes, put a mark on the side of the bowl. Place the mark at the bottom of the draft arm. Make the measurement within 150 mm (5.9 inch) of the front of the bowl side. After five minutes, put a mark on the side of the bowl. Measure the drift.

Check the drift of the apron cylinder when the engine is at low idle and the bowl is on the ground. Lift the apron approximately 380 mm (15.0 inch) above the edge of the bowl and move the control lever to the HOLD position. Put a mark on the bowl at the side of the apron. After one minute, make a second mark. Measure the drift. The apron should not drift more than 6.5 mm (0.25 inch) per minute.
