The new components in the 7W6042 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3508 Engines 7YG488 and 99W3345 in D11N Tractors. The new components in the 2W0731 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3508 Engines 99W3345 in 776B Tractors and 777B Trucks. The new components in the 2W0731 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3508 Engines 7YG488 in 776C Tractors and 777C Trucks. The new and former components of the 2W0730 Water Aftercooler Group are listed in Chart B. The new components in the 2W0730 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3512 Engine 96Z884 in 785 Trucks and 3512 Engine 4WJ337 in 785B Trucks.
The new and former components of the 2W3715 and 7E6731 Water Aftercooler Groups are listed in Chart C. The new components in the 2W3715 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3516 Engine 54Z965 in 789 Trucks and 2PK319 Engine in 789B Trucks. The new components in the 7E6731 Water Aftercooler Group are in effect with 3516 Engine 54Z965 in 994 Wheel Loaders.
The new components of the water aftercooler groups, when used together, are adaptable to all earlier machines.
The former aftercooler housings can be modified to include the larger bolt holes. The 11.5 mm (.45 in) holes can be enlarged to a diameter of 12.3 mm (.48 in) in diameter.
Be careful to leave sufficient inside bolt hole wall thickness to provide the correct gasket loading.
