Remove the carburetor.
Remove the exhaust bypass.

Remove pipe assembly (1) and the O-ring seals. Remove hose (2).

Remove elbow (3) and elbow assembly (4). Note: Discard the gaskets and replace upon installation. Remove any of the pipe plugs, if necessary.
Disconnect tube assembly (5).

Remove tube assembly (6) and the O-ring seals. Remove tube assembly (7).

Remove tube assemblies (8) and (9).

Remove locknuts (11).
Use a suitable lifting device to remove turbocharger (10). The weight of turbocharger (10) is approximately 57 kg (126 lb).

Remove turbine inlet temperature sensor (14).
Remove studs (12) and remove adapter assembly (13). Discard the gaskets and replace upon installation. Remove any of the pipe plugs, if necessary. Installation Procedure
Install turbocharger (10) in the reverse order of removal. Note: If any pipe plugs were removed, apply Tooling (A) to threads prior to installation.
Apply Tooling (A) to studs (12).
Apply Tooling (B) to turbine inlet temperature sensor (14).
Apply Tooling (A) to locknuts (11). Tighten to 54 4 N m (40 3 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (C) to the O-ring seals of tube assembly (6).
Apply Tooling (D) to the O-ring seals of pipe assembly (1).
