There have been issues with 435-4932 Temperature Sensor on the engine.Note: The temperature sensor is located in the Clean Emissions Module (CEM).Solution

Caterpillaris investigating the root cause of these issues. To support the investigation, Caterpillar is requesting that the following steps are completed : -
Follow the correct troubleshooting procedure for any diagnostic codes that are displayed. Refer to Troubleshooting for more information.
Identify the temperature sensor that is believed to have an issue.
Verify that the issue is with the individual temperature sensor. The verification can be achieved by swapping the temperature sensor with the other temperature sensors. For example, DOC inlet, DPF or SCR.
The error code will follow the temperature sensor or change to the new position. Refer to Troubleshooting for more information.
Replace the temperature sensor that has the issue. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly for correct procedure.
Retain the removed temperature sensor for 30 days. The temperature sensor will be requested for return using the Send It Back (SIB) process.Note: Ensure that the temperature sensor packaged so that it is protected from damage.Submit the following information through "CPI Feedback" within the Service Information Management System:

Machine hours
Diagnostic codes
Identify temperature sensor position
