Bent right-hand side (RHS) hinges has caused the hood to be misaligned or not closing correctly on certain 308E Mini Hydraulic Excavators.Traveling with the hoop open or trying to close the hood with lock on the cylinder may damage the hinges.Solution

Lock and hinge location (2) Lock (3) Hinge (RHS)Prevent damage to RHS hinges (3), follow the steps listed.
Ensure cylinder lock (2) is in the unlock position before attempting to close hood (1) .
Close hood (1) before traveling the machine.
