At operating temperature, the hydraulic tank is hot and under pressure.Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Remove the filler cap slowly in order to relieve pressure.

Use Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and two straps in order to put the steering pump in position.
Install six bolts (9) into the flange on the steering pump.

Remove Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and the two straps.
Install liner (8) and three screws (7).

Connect two hydraulic lines (6) onto the steering pump.

Connect hydraulic fitting (5) to the steering pump.

Install two hydraulic tubes (4) and one clip onto the steering pump.
Install hydraulic tubes (3) onto the steering pump.

Put two hydraulic hoses (2) in position on the steering pump. Install eight bolts (1) and the four half flanges.
Install the coupling assembly for the steering pump .
Fill the hydraulic system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscocities and Refill Capacities" for the proper filling procedure. Note: Install a 500 psi gauge at the steering filter. Turn the fuel switch to the off position. Crank the engine. Allow the pressure on the gauge to reach 150 psi. Turn the fuel on and start the engine.
